With the success of its Frescata sandwiches, based on the distinctive,
chewy focaccia bread, Wendy’s is introducing an even more Italian-style
option…
Wendy’s new Frescata Italiana features Genoa salami, Black Forest ham,
Romaine lettuce, Swiss cheese and roasted red peppers with a sun-dried
tomato vinaigrette, on fresh-baked artisan bread.
The sandwich has 520 calories, 90 mg of cholesterol, 26 grams of
protein and 25 grams total fat. Because it is relatively high in fat,
you should consider this sandwich as an occasional treat. If you are
salt-sensitive or have high blood pressure, avoid it completely because
it contains 1540 grams of sodium.
The price of the sandwich will be $3.49 a la carte, or $4.99 if part of
a combo of Baked Lays chips and bottled water. Skip the chips.
